Todd Gendreau

Todd Gendreau is a co-owner of Strategic Consulting Services, Inc. and has been with the firm since 2002. Todd provides vocational evaluations, earning capacity assessments, life care planning, and expert witness services across workers’ compensation, civil litigation, and Social Security disability proceedings.

Todd holds a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), and Diplomate of the American Board of Vocational Experts (ABVE/D). He is a registered vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, an approved vocational rehabilitation counselor with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Worker’s Compensation Programs, and an approved vocational expert with the Social Security Administration.

Beyond his clinical and litigation work, Todd is deeply invested in the profession. He has served as an approved practicum and internship site supervisor for master’s-level rehabilitation counseling students at Western Washington University, the University of Alabama, and the University of Wisconsin-Stout helping train the next generation of vocational rehabilitation counselors. He has also served as a guest lecturer and presenter at state and national conferences.

Todd has held leadership roles at both the state and national level through the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP), including Washington Chapter President, Social Security Vocational Expert Section Chair (2021–2023), and currently serves on IARP’s Board of Directors as Representative for the Social Security Vocational Experts Section (2024–2026). He previously served as a board member of Professionals in Workers’ Compensation from 2011–2017.
