CDMS, CSHE
Mikkel began in the industry as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor over 10 years ago after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University in 2002. She has been a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) since 2006. Mikkel is especially interested in focusing on preventative strategies, which led her to the field of ergonomics, and she received her Certified Specialist in Health Ergonomics (CSHE) credential in 2011. She enjoys providing education to empower her clients, identifying viable solutions for challenging workspaces, and staying apprised of the latest industry research and equipment.

Mikkel is a certified Bikram yoga instructor and brings this additional functional knowledge to her ergonomics work. She also enjoys playing keys in a local indie rock band, skiing, and getting outside with her family.
