Leigh Haley started with SCS as a vocational consultant in September 2004. She provided vocational consulting for the Department of Labor and Industries and self-insurers for over 10 years. For the last 10 years Leigh has been the Operations Firm Manager and the Director of State Fund Services at SCS.

Leigh is passionate about helping workers and employers in the state of Washington. She was an Advisory Member for the Vocational Recovery Project (VRP), a collaboration of the Department of Labor and Industries and Private Sector Vocational Firm Managers and Owners from 2016-2021. She is currently (2022-2024) an Advisor on the Vocational Recovery Advisory Committee (VRAC) and participates in several workgroups with Labor and Industry’s and private sector vocational firm managers/owners to review and recommend ongoing improvements in the Workers Compensation System. She is also currently the Co-Chair of the IARP Management Group (IMG).

Leigh began her work in the workers compensation industry in 1999 as a Safety Director and Workers Compensation Specialist for a telecommunications company. She then became a Claims Manager for a third-party administrator working specifically with Construction Companies and Nursing Care Facilities in the Puget Sound area. Leigh assisted in the overall management of claims as well as specialized in assisting employers to develop and maintain positive hiring practices and safety programs.

Leigh graduated from Central Michigan University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Her major was in Social Sciences. She worked as a 6th grade teacher prior to moving to Seattle, Washington in 1999. While teaching Leigh was a union representative as well as a 7th grade girls basketball coach.

Outside of work, Leigh enjoys time with her family and friends, travelling, golfing, and watching sports.
