Joy Nelson

Joy Nelson has been with Strategic Consulting Services since February 2019. Joy has been a Career Counselor for 10+ years with teaching and advising professional career development: career assessments, resume building, interviewing and providing job placement. Joy has experience working with employers on a recruiting level: internship, employment and coordinating job/resource fairs. Joy also has experience working in the mental health industry as a Therapist for adults and youth.
Joy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (2007) and Master’s Degree in Counselor Education (2011) at San Jose State University. She currently holds a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate license.
Outside of work, Joy enjoys hiking, shopping and spending time with family.
