CDMS

Amanda began her career as a VRC working L&I state fund claims in 2005. She graduated in 2004 from The Evergreen State College with a bachelor’s degree in Multicultural Counseling and earned her Certified Disability Management Specialist certificate in 2007.

Amanda’s quality work and attention to detail are appreciated by all stakeholders. She takes an honest approach to her services and strives to make her clients feel supported through what, at times, can be a difficult process. Encouraging her clients to identify their goals and then helping them to take action toward those goals is a rewarding process for her.

Amanda also enjoys educating employers on their rights and role in the L&I process and assisting them identify return to work options.

By engaging and communicating directly with all stakeholders including workers, employers, medical professionals, attorneys, and L&I staff, Amanda works to identify barriers and reach solutions.

Outside of work Amanda enjoys staying active, decorating, reading, spending time with her husband, supporting her children’s activities, and going for long walks with her labradoodle.
